I am standing for election to represent Bothal Ward on the Ashington Town Council.

I was elected to the first Ashington Town Council for this ward (which is where I live) in 2009. Previously I was a councillor on the former Wansbeck District Council, first elected in 1999.

This by-election is caused by the resignation of the sitting Labour Councillor.

I believe I will be an Experienced, Enthusiastic, Committed, Local Voice of Bothal Ward.
